Ed Norton & Elizabeth Banks in ‘Modern Family’!!
We’ve been enjoying a new comedy series that aired in The States a while ago and the first season is now half-way through. Modern Family is about one big (straight, gay, multi-cultural, traditional) happy family. This big family consists of three different (smaller) families and the success of this satiric comedy has earned them a Golden Globe Nomination in the category for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
In Episode 8 ‘Great Expectations’ there was a big surprise for the viewers when Izzy LaFontaine (Edward Norton) and Sal (Elizabeth Banks) make an appearance. Banks plays the wild, hard-partying friend of Mitchell and Cameron. Edward Norton portrays a guitarist from ’80s one-hit-wonder band Spandau Ballet and does a really good job!
Modern Family’s cast is amazing and especially Ed O’Neill (yep, Mr. Al Bundy) as Jay and Ty Burrell who plays Phil Dunphy are hilarious! Let’s hope this series won’t have the same faith as our favorite series last year ‘Dirty Sexy Money’!
