American Apparel’s Best Bottom Contest!!
I don’t like to be women unfriendly, but American Apparel’s Best Bottom Contest was impossible for me to ignore! Not just because I’m a big fan of beautiful aesthetics but also because it’s such a smart add campaign.
The brand is searching for the best butt in the world and the contest has already garnered attention from The Independent and The New York Times. There’s a lot of negative attention since people are voting on photos of bottoms in American Apparel clothing from people everywhere. These are being published on the site and then finalists will be chosen who might appear in their next ad campaign. It’s another form of the Citizen Model Campaigns that have been increasingly popular among fashion brands! We can’t wait to see who wins!!
