Pimpalicious Releases Limited Edition New Era Caps & Varsity Jackets!
Our good friends from Pimpalicious in Amsterdam have some limited edition stuff coming out so we wanted to drop a line on them. Two Pimpalicious Varsity Jackets and two accompanying New Era Caps!
The Varsity Jacket is made out of outstanding quality and rocks the PL monogram. The jacket comes in two colors black and dark royal blue. Limited edition so only 100 pieces made of each color.

This Actor Pops Up Everywhere: Chris Messina!!
I feel like in one out of three movies I watch has Chris Messina in it. I’ve had the feeling I’ve known him for years and tons of films, but actually it’s just that the last two/three years he has been in a lot of big productions.
His debut was in Rounders (1998) and after that he had ten years of typical Hollywood struggling which luckily for him resulted in his break in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). It resulted in Messina being listed in the ‘Ten Actors to Watch’ list in Daily Variety.
Exhibition – ‘Internal Affairs’ by Cem Dinlenmiş @ X-Ist 18th of February 2010
Cem Dinlenmiş (1985) is THE most talented caricaturist of Turkey!! At a very young age he started drawing periodically at Penguen Magazine and apart from that he’s also a gifted illustrator.
From the 18th of February 2010 his first solo exhibition ‘Internal Affairs‘ will take place at the X-Ist Gallery in Istanbul. His previous group exhibitions included ‘Intersection III’ at X-Ist, ‘Young Istanbul’ in Stockholm, ‘Connect the Dots’ at Hafriyat Karaköy and ‘Streetlab Istanbul‘ at the Bilsar Building. So you know this boy can draw!
The Battle of The T-Shirts is On!!!!
Thanks to our good friend Ennio Bonazzo we got to see this crazy cool stop-motion video of Rhett & Link’s t-shirts battling each other! The duo changed shirts over 100 times each and every t-shirt was photographed individually. So there’s NO Photoshop used, which I thought they did. Then the video was exported at 30fps and they shot the animation moves at 6fps, hence the slower T-shirt animations!

My Parents Had A Life Before Me!!
I stumbled on this website a couple of days ago and I loved it. The site My Parents Were Awesome shows photos of parents from the time before they screwed up their lives and got kids. Now we’re around the time to make the same mistakes and hopefully we’ll be ‘cool’ parents like these people on the photos of this site!
Alexander McQueen RIP 1969 – 2010
None of us know why such a talented and loved creative genius would commit suicide, but the sad truth is that it did happen. On the 11th of February 2010 Lee ‘Alexander’ McQueen hanged himself just days before his mother’s funeral.
McQueen was known for in the fashion world for his unconventional designs and shock tactics. The Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design graduate started his own label back in 1994 and had become one of the top names in fashion resulting in him becoming the head of Givenchy. He won the British Designer of the Year award four times in his career.
We hope that Alexander McQueen did it out of sheer happiness.
This Is Saf – Visuals & Words!
We live in an age where we’re pretty spoiled visually so when I see something I really like that makes me happy. Bumping into the website of Saf~ really made me happy. I didn’t even check out all the links or exactly know what they do, but it just gave me a nice feeling so I wanted to share that with all of you out there!!

!f Festival Istanbul 11th – 22nd of February 2010
Our favorite film festival is there again and we’re so excited! Since we haven’t seen most of the ‘Kesif’ films we can only say something about the hit films and there’s some nice ones there. Especially ‘An Education‘ and ‘Away We Go‘ are nice, but our top pick is ‘Un Prophete‘! Tickets for all the movies are available through MyBilet.

I don’t like to be women unfriendly, but American Apparel’s Best Bottom Contest was impossible for me to ignore! Not just because I’m a big fan of beautiful aesthetics but also because it’s such a smart add campaign.
